Somatic Medicine + Acupuncture

New Patient Intake and Treatment

Your first visit is spacious, unrushed, and designed to help you feel safe, supported, and truly seen.

We’ll look at your full picture—symptoms, patterns, stress physiology, hormones, digestion, sleep, tension—and leave enough time to give you a somatic bodywork and optional acupuncture treatment. At the end of your first session we make a treatment plan to best support your mind and body moving forward.

Time: 75-80 minutes

Self-pay: $250

Insurance: your insurance portion (copay/coinsurance/deductible)

Note: Acupuncture is one tool within our somatic medicine approach — not a requirement. Sessions without acupuncture are self-pay only.

You do not need to know what kind of treatment you need yet. We’ll make a plan together.

Massage Therapy

Deep Tissue + Relaxation Massage

Therapeutic bodywork tailored to what your body needs today

Deep tissue work is focused and intentional — targeting chronic tension, muscle adhesions, and pain patterns using myofascial release, trigger point therapy, cupping, and structural bodywork. If you carry stress in your body as tightness, knots, or aching that needs some extra attention, this is your session.

Relaxation massage is slow, fluid, and deeply present — for when your nervous system has been overstimulated for too long and you just want to melt on the table and be taken care of. Using Biodynamic touch and Swedish techniques, this session creates the conditions for genuine rest.

Our massage therapists each bring their own style and specialties.

Frequently Asked Questions

What should I book first?

If you’re new to acupuncture or somatic medicine, start with the New Patient Intake. If you’re new to massage, start with whichever session fits what you’re looking for — or book a free consultation and we’ll point you in the right direction. If you’re returning, choose the follow-up that matches your treatment plan.

Do I need to start with acupuncture or somatic medicine to work with us?

Not at all. Massage therapy is a complete entry point at the studio — no intake required. Start wherever feels right for your body.

How many sessions will I need?

Most people feel meaningful change with consistency. For acupuncture and somatic medicine, we’ll recommend a plan based on your symptoms, capacity, and goals. For massage, your therapist will guide you — but many women report more profound results with more frequent visits, especially while symptoms are acute.

What’s the difference between the massage styles you offer?

Deep tissue targets chronic tension and pain patterns. Relaxation massage is focused on nervous system unwinding and genuine rest. Abdominal massage therapy addresses the digestive, reproductive, and structural health of the abdomen and pelvis. Foot reflexology supports whole-body wellness through reflex points in the feet. Not sure which fits? Book a free consultation.

Do you take insurance?

Yes for acupuncture (coverage varies). Massage therapy and somatic bodywork are self-pay only.

What if I’m nervous?

That’s normal. Every session is collaborative — we go at your pace and you’re always in control.

What if budget is a concern?

We offer limited discounted options. If you’d like to explore what’s possible, reach out — no long explanation needed.
